How to organize a Seminar
Organizing a seminar in a
library can be a great way to engage the community, promote knowledge sharing
and exhibits Librarians talents. Here some basic ideas for a step-by-step guide
to help you organize a successful seminar in a library.
1. Internal meeting: Primarily
organize your internal meeting with your staff discus with your staff about
possibilities regarding organizing a seminar, and make organizing seminar team.
2. Define the Purpose of
the seminar: Determine the topic and objective of the seminar. Consider the
interests and needs of your target audience. For example about reading habits,

accordingly (if possible try to get sponsors from publishers, vendors or well-wishers

to reach your audience.
9. Prepare Materials:
Collect any necessary materials or handouts for the seminar like presentation
slides, worksheets, or reference materials. Ensure that all required equipment
and technology are tested and functioning properly.
10. Registration Process:
Set up a registration process for attendees to confirm attendance for the
seminar. This can be done through online registration forms, email, or phone.

arrangements.
11. Day of the Seminar: Arrive
